Overview

EW-IS3628M connects 24 Gigabit RJ45 data ports and four 100/1000Mbps SFP uplinks in a fanless industrial enclosure. Web and console administration provide VLANs, traffic controls and network redundancy for DIN-rail installations operating from −40°C to +75°C.

VLANs and redundancy

Port-based and IEEE 802.1Q VLANs, RSTP, fast ring-network functions, static port aggregation and loop detection/avoidance.

Traffic control

IGMP snooping, broadcast/multicast/unicast storm suppression, port input/output bandwidth controls and multi-to-one port mirroring. Copper ports auto-negotiate speed and duplex with MDI/MDIX.

Management and security

Web and RS232 console administration, DHCP client, SNMP v1/v2, configuration backup, firmware upload, factory reset and logs. The datasheet also lists MAC filtering, MAC binding and 802.1X authentication.

Power and environment

Two DC feeds provide power redundancy. Select a supply according to the input rating on the delivered unit. Operating humidity: 10–90%; storage: −40°C to +85°C and 5–95% RH, non-condensing.

Fiber selection

Use compatible 100/1000Mbps SFP modules for the intended fiber type and distance. Optical reach is determined by the installed module.
