Overview

EW-S3920G aggregates 16 Gigabit SFP fiber ports with four Gigabit RJ45 uplinks in a full-duplex switching platform. VLAN support, 40Gbps switching capacity and 16K MAC learning provide a straightforward fiber aggregation layer for campus, surveillance and enterprise networks.

Fiber links

SFP ports use separately selected optical modules; transmission distance follows the module. The source does not require a fixed wavelength. Do not interpret the 1.25G module ceiling as a 10G uplink.

Copper uplinks

Four RJ45 uplinks operate at 1000Mbps with a stated default distance of 0–100m and auto MDI/MDIX. All ports use store-and-forward switching.

VLAN and indicators

Ports 1–16 support a VLAN mode. LEDs show power, VLAN status and link/activity; the source’s port indicator wording includes a power state that should be confirmed against the deployed configuration.

Environment and protection

Operating humidity: 10–95%, non-condensing. Storage: −40°C to +70°C. ESD is listed as 1.5kV air/contact and surge as 4kV common mode / 2kV differential mode.
