Overview

EW-S1918CF-AP connects 16 Fast Ethernet PoE devices with Gigabit copper and fiber uplink options. It supports IEEE 802.3af/at power delivery up to 30W per PoE port, with a 300W power supply and fanless operation for surveillance and access networks.

Uplink and Ethernet operation

The combo uplink provides alternative RJ45 and SFP connections for one logical port. SFP modules are ordered separately. Copper ports support automatic speed negotiation and MDI/MDIX; forwarding is store-and-forward.

DIP-switch modes

E: extend transmission up to 300m at 10Mbps on the affected link, while other ports retain their normal rates within 100m. V: port isolation on ports 1–4. D: PoE watchdog on ports 1–4. Port priority is enabled by default.

PoE power delivery

Ports 1–16 detect IEEE 802.3af/at powered devices. Default power pins are 1/2 (+) and 3/6 (−). The 30W per-port maximum is subject to the available shared power supply.

Desktop, wall or 19-inch 1U rack installation. Net weight <3kg. Operating humidity: 5–90%, non-condensing. Storage: −40°C to +75°C, 5–95% RH, non-condensing.

Protection and status

ESD protection: ±8kV contact, ±15kV air. Surge protection: power ±4kV common mode / ±2kV differential mode; ports ±4kV. LEDs indicate power, link/activity and PoE status.
