Overview

EW-IS1702 connects a 10/100Mbps copper Ethernet device to an SC fiber link. Unmanaged operation, redundant 12–48V DC inputs and DIN-rail mounting support industrial network extensions, with a default 20km single-mode dual-fiber option and additional optical variants.

Optical ordering options

EW-IS1702-1FE: 1310nm, 20km single-mode dual-fiber. EW-IS1702-1FE-M: 850nm/0.5km or 1310nm/2km multimode. EW-IS1702-1FE-A and -B: paired 1310nm and 1550nm, 20km single-mode single-fiber versions.

Ethernet operation

Store-and-forward operation, full/half-duplex auto-negotiation and automatic MDI/MDIX. Maximum frame size: 1536 bytes. LEDs indicate power, Ethernet link and fiber activity.
