Overview

EW-COX502POE extends Ethernet and PoE over elevator traveling cable, coaxial cable or twisted pair where standard copper runs are too short. A matched master/slave pair supports remote power, transparent transmission and up to 2,000m over 75-5 coaxial cable.

Long-distance transparent link

The pair carries Ethernet over existing two-wire infrastructure with no software changes to the upper network.

Remote PoE power

DC or PoE input can feed a remote PD through the same cable, with up to 30W available under IEEE 802.3af/at.

Flexible field wiring

BNC, RJ45 and industrial terminal options support coax, elevator cable and twisted-pair retrofit projects.
