Overview

EW-PIS1810-8GE connects eight Gigabit PoE devices to two Gigabit SFP uplinks. Its redundant 48–57VDC input and compact DIN rail enclosure suit industrial surveillance, with switch-selectable Extend, port isolation and PoE watchdog functions for field maintenance.

Dual fiber uplinks

Two Gigabit SFP slots link remote camera groups to the upstream network.

30W per port

Select a 120W or 240W external supply to suit the connected PoE load.

Extend mode

Long copper runs operate at 10Mbps; other links retain their normal speed.

DIN rail installation

The 165 × 145 × 53mm enclosure fits compact industrial cabinets.

Extend, isolation and watchdog

The E switch enables copper runs up to 300m at 10Mbps. V isolates ports 1–8, and D enables PoE watchdog recovery for unresponsive endpoints.

Fiber module selection

Choose modules for the required wavelength, fiber type and distance. Listed options cover multimode and single-mode links; the reach depends on the installed optics.

PoE wiring and copper links

PoE uses pins 1/2 positive and 3/6 negative. Standard Gigabit copper links use Cat5e or better cabling up to 100m.

Environmental protection

Storage range is −40°C to +125°C at 5%–95% RH. ESD protection is ±8kV contact and ±15kV air; the specification also lists surge and industrial EMC immunity.
