Overview

EW-IS1805 is a 5-port industrial unmanaged switch with four Gigabit copper ports, a Gigabit SFP or SC fiber uplink and redundant 12–57V DC power for reliable fiber-connected industrial networks.

Four Gigabit ports

Four auto-sensing 10/100/1000Base-T ports support full or half duplex and MDI/MDI-X.

Fiber uplink

A 100/1000Base-X SFP or SC slot extends the industrial network over fiber.

Industrial protection

IP40 construction, 6kV lightning protection and vibration and shock resistance support harsh sites.

Redundant DC input

Dual 12–57VDC Phoenix-terminal inputs provide anti-reverse industrial power redundancy.

Copper and fiber links

The four copper ports auto-sense 10/100/1000Base-T and support full or half duplex with MDI/MDI-X adaptation. The fiber slot accepts optional single-mode or multimode, single-fiber or dual-fiber LC modules.

Industrial power

Two sets of V+ and V− inputs on a six-pin Phoenix terminal provide redundant 12–57VDC power with anti-reverse protection.

Transmission planning

Cat3/4/5 UTP reaches 100m at 10Mbps, Cat5 or later reaches 100m at 100Mbps and Cat5e or later reaches 100m at Gigabit. Fiber reaches up to 120km with the appropriate optic.
