Overview

EW-PIS5728GM-AP(VTS) combines 24 Gigabit PoE ports and four 1G/2.5G/10G SFP+ uplinks with built-in AC power and an external DC backup input. Static routing, ERPS and scheduled PoE controls support industrial networks operating from −40°C to +75°C.

AC and DC inputs

Built-in AC power and a separate 48–57V DC backup input support redundant supply designs.

10G aggregation

Four SFP+ uplinks carry traffic from 24 Gigabit PoE access ports.

Industrial operation

A rack enclosure and wide temperature range suit industrial network installations.

Power planning

The AC and DC inputs are main and backup sources; their ratings are not added to create an 800W output budget. Plan connected PoE loads within the 400W configuration. External backup power is required for DC operation.

PoE controls

Per-port power limits, priority, delayed startup, status monitoring and schedules. The documented 30W port rating is used for this configuration.

Routing and resilience

Static/default routing, IPv4/IPv6 management, VLANs and QinQ. ERPS, STP/RSTP/MSTP, LACP and static aggregation support redundant network designs.

Traffic and security

IGMP/MLD snooping, port mirroring, eight output queues, ACLs, 802.1X, RADIUS, ARP inspection and DHCP snooping.

Installation and maintenance

Desktop or 19-inch 1U rack installation. HTTPS, SSH, SNMP, LLDP, logs and cable diagnostics. SFP+ modules are ordered separately. Storage: −40°C to +80°C.
