Overview

EW-PIS5812M-8GE provides eight Gigabit IEEE 802.3af/at PoE ports and four 10G SFP+ uplinks for industrial access networks. L2+ management includes VLANs, software static routing, ERPS and scheduled PoE, with redundant 48–57V DC inputs and an IP40 DIN-rail enclosure.

10G fiber uplinks

Four SFP+ slots connect industrial access devices to higher-bandwidth fiber networks.

Scheduled PoE control

Configure port power limits, priorities, delayed startup and operating schedules.

Industrial enclosure

IP40 aluminum enclosure with DIN-rail mounting and redundant 48–57V DC power.

VLAN and software routing

Redundancy and multicast

STP, RSTP, MSTP, G.8032 ERPS, LACP and static aggregation. IGMP snooping v1/v2/v3, MLD snooping v1/v2, multicast VLAN and bidirectional port mirroring.

Eight queues per port with 802.1p/DSCP mapping and SP/WRR scheduling. L2–L4 ACLs, 802.1X, RADIUS, port isolation, IP source protection and IP/MAC/VLAN/port binding.

PoE management

Total and per-port power limits, af/at control, output priority, status display, startup delay and scheduling. PoE pairs: 1/2 positive, 3/6 negative. Size the external supply for the endpoint load and switch consumption.

Management and diagnostics

HTTPS Web, SSH CLI, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, DHCP client/server/relay/snooping, NTP, syslog and LLDP. Cable diagnostics, CPU monitoring and hardware factory reset.
